She was recently hired as a graphic designer and photography assistant with JR Photography.

Garcia is familiar with programs Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Final Cut Pro. The San Antonio native recently attended the 2010 National College Media Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, with The Rattler staff in an effort to gain knowledge about the growth of journalism. The fast-paced environment allowed her to gain hands on experience and become familiar with photography. Garcia is looking into the Chicago Portfolio School for Fall 2011.

The aspiring graphic designer hopes to obtain a job in the entertainment industry. She is interested in magazine and online graphic/layout design similar to works like Cambio Connect, Seventeen, Teen Vogue, etc. If you would like to contact Jasmine Garcia for a resume and/or portfolio, please feel free to email her at jasmine.garciaa@gmail.com
